Woven With Intent: Knot, Cord, and Braid Magic
The oldest magical tools weren't carved from crystal or cast in silver. They were twisted from plant fiber and tied with bare hands. From the Fates spinning the thread of every life to the folk magic traditions of every continent, cord magic is as ancient as the human impulse to hold on — and as deliberate as the choice to let go.
Woven With Intent is a 120-minute hands-on workshop in knot, cord, and braid work — magic you make with your body as much as your mind. The rhythmic repetition of braiding becomes a trance. Each knot tightened around a breath becomes a sealed intention. A simple length of colored thread becomes a working spell you can wear on your wrist or hang above your door.
You'll move through the complete practice from philosophy to finished object: the ethics of binding magic, material and color correspondence, the Power of Three in braiding, the complete Nine-Knot Spell sequence, breath-capture technique, and the often-overlooked art of ending a spell — knowing when to untie a cord slowly and when to cut it clean. You'll leave with a finished piece of your own making and the Weaver's Workbook: a Nine-Knot chart, color and fiber guide, and three short daily cord rituals to carry the practice home.
By the end of this course, you will be able to select, consecrate, and work with cord and fiber as intentional magical materials — braiding, knotting, and sealing intentions with confidence. You'll understand the ethics of binding, the energetic difference between untying and cutting a finished working, and how to wear or display a living cord as an ongoing magical anchor in daily life.
