Bones and Breath: Creating Custom Rituals for Mabon 9/13

Mabon sits at the crux of the year — the moment when light and dark draw perfectly even before the darkness wins. It is the harvest's reckoning: a time to weigh what you've grown, acknowledge what you're releasing, and make peace with the turning. It is one of the most psychologically and energetically rich sabbats on the wheel.

It also deserves better than a generic gratitude circle and some apple cider.

In this course, you'll take the structural and craft skills from *Bones and Breath: Create Custom Rituals* and apply them directly to Mabon — building ceremony that fits your practice exactly. We'll work through the specific energetic qualities of the autumn equinox: balance and its tension, harvest and grief held in the same hand, the threshold between the bright half and the dark half of the year.

You'll design ritual that is specific to *your* harvest — not a symbolic one, but the real one. What did you plant in spring? What came in? What rotted in the field? 

From there, you'll move through the full build: selecting tools, correspondences, and sensory anchors that carry genuine Mabon resonance; crafting words and movements that honor both the gratitude *and* the grief this season holds; structuring a working with a real energetic arc; and closing in a way that sends you across the threshold ready for what the dark half brings.

By the end, you'll have a complete, original Mabon ritual plan built to your tradition, your tools, and your year — one you could perform alone at your altar or lead for a full group.
