Anyone can lay three cards in a row and call it a reading. But what separates a forgettable shuffle from a reading that cuts straight to the bone is structure — and structure can be learned.

Position, Purpose, Flow is a 120-minute intensive workshop for oracle card readers who are ready to stop borrowing other people's blueprints and start building their own. This is not a class about card meanings or intuitive development. It is a class about architecture: the deliberate design of positional containers that transform abstract imagery into clear, actionable insight. Think of it as the difference between wandering through a house and understanding how it was built — once you see the load-bearing walls, you can construct anything.

The workshop opens with the foundational principle most readers never examine: that a position is not decorative. It is structural. A vague positional label produces a vague reading, every time, regardless of the card that falls there. You'll learn to move from the foggy ("What energy surrounds this situation?") to the surgical ("What belief am I holding that is actively blocking forward movement?") — and understand precisely why that distinction changes everything.

From there, the class moves through the geometry of spread design. Each shape carries its own energetic logic, and learning to match form to function is the first step toward spreads that feel magical, not arbitrary.  The heart of the workshop is flow — the quality that separates a spread from a mere collection of positions.

The second half of the class is a live design workshop. You'll build a custom 4-card spread from the ground up, stress-test it for logic gaps and narrative coherence, and give it a name — because naming a spread is itself an act of magical anchoring.

Every student leaves with the Architect's Workbook
By the end of this course, you will understand spread design not as an intuitive art but as a learnable architecture — one built on deliberate positional logic, intentional narrative flow, and the disciplined craft of asking the right question in the right slot. You'll leave with a fully constructed, stress-tested, named spread of your own design and the Architect's Workbook: a practical reference library you'll return to every time you sit down to build something new.
